Objectives:

  • to revise and practise the modifying adverbs;
  • to introduce yourself;
  • to write an email letter to the friend;
  • to develop students’ writing and speaking skills;
  • to improve students’ grammar competence;
  • to promote positive attitude to studying a language.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to use the modifying adverbs in speech, to introduce themselves and write an email to their friends.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.
