Objectives:

• to learn the new vocabulary;
• to read a story “The Canterville Ghost” (chapter III), written by Oscar Wilde;
• to say if the sentences are true or false;
• to complete the sentences with the names;
• to talk about the conversation of Ghost and the spirit;
• to develop the students’ reading skills;
• to provide a stable atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to use the vocabulary in speech, to retell the plot of the chapter III.
