Objectives:

  • to make a dialogue about music in Britain;
  • to introduce the rules of writing the descriptive essay;
  • to write a short comment for an Internet blog;
  • to make a project “Music”;
  • to revise the tenses (Present Indefinite Tense and Future Indefinite Tense);
  • to develop the students’ reading, speaking and writing skills;
  • to promote thinking and creative imagination.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to write a descriptive essay, to make a project about music, to use Present Indefinite Tense and Future Indefinite Tense in speech.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

 

Plan

Warm-up:
