Objectives:

  • to listen to boys’ talk;
  • to match the sentences;
  • to complete the sentences with ‘must’ or ‘mustn’t’ (table manners);
  • to listen to girls’ talk, finding out what they eat for their meals;
  • to fill in the columns;
  • to discuss the meals in groups;
  • to develop students’ listening, speaking and writing skills;
  • to develop self-esteem and a sense of respect for others;
  • to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to name the table manners, to say what they eat for their meals.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.
