Objectives:

• to develop students’ creativity and reading and speaking skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to speak about school life

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 4. The icons of the lesson.

Slide 5. Read and match the subjects.

Main activity:

Slide 6-9. Work with Student’s Book. a) Read the children’s opinions about their school lessons and say which of the subjects they like or don’t like and why (ex.1,p.73)

Slide 10-11. Work with Student’s Book . b) Make up some sentences about the kids above ( ex.1, p.74)

Slide 12. Interactive task.

Slide 13-15. Work with Student’s Book . Speak about what makes a school subject interesting and what makes it boring ( ex.2, p.74)

Slide 16-17. Work with Student’s Book . Work in pairs. Give your ideas and discuss the questions (ex.3, p.75)

Slide 18. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Practice:

Slide 19-20. Work with Working Book. Match the words with their definitions (ex.10, p.42)
