Objectives: to prepare students for the writing activity and organize and plan their ideas in a paragraph, to present students with the topic related to the writing task, to give students practice in talking about themselves through a pair work activity, to present and give students practice in using capital letters and punctuation, to help students understand the stylistic features of writing, to give students practice in writing a paragraph about themselves

 Outcomes: by the end of the lesson pupils will be able to write their ideas in a paragraph, to talk about themselves through a pair work activity, to use capital letters and punctuation, to understand the stylistic features of writing

Materials: PowerPoint presentation, Pupil’s book, Activity Book.
