Objectives:

• to learn Module 1 “About me” with topic about school;
• to review some school subjects;
• to have practice in reading and doing tasks;
• to find out synonyms and opposites in the text;
• to develop students’ speaking and reading skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about school

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Slide 12-14. Work with Student’s Book. B) Look at the school facilities below. Where do you do each of the subjects above? (ex.1, p.6)

Slide 15-16. Work with Student’s Book. READ A) Look at the pictures and read the title of the text and the introduction. How is Caterfield Sports College different from other schools? Listen, read and check your answers (ex.2, p.7)

Slide 17-19. Work with Student’s Book. READ B) Read again and answer the questions (ex.2, p.7)
