Objectives: to present vocabulary related to celebrations, to help students make predictions about the content of the text based on visual prompts and their background knowledge, to present vocabulary, structures and functions in the context of two texts about two celebrations, to give students practice in identifying specific information in the text, to give students opportunity to have a further discussion on the topic of the texts
