Objectives:

• to learn about Past Progressive and its using in sentences;
• to have practice in writing a short paragraph about the accident ;
• to develop students’ writing and speaking skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about accidents

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. GRAMMAR Past Progressive ( p.33)

Slide 8-9. Work with Student’s Book. Complete with Past progressive of the verbs in brackets (ex.3, p.33)

Slide 10-11. Work with Student’s Book. SPEAK AND WRITE Role play A) Imagine that there was a car accident in your neighborhood yesterday. Talk in groups of four (ex.4, p.33)

Slide 12. Work with Student’s Book. SPEAK AND WRITE Write a short paragraph about the accident (ex.4, p.33)

Slide 13. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Practice:
