Objectives:

• to speak about favorite book;
• to have practice in describing in writing your favorite book;
• to make a book collage;
• to develop students’ creativity and speaking and writing skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to speak favorite book

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 5. Discussion Starters.

Main activity:

Slide 6-8. Work with Student’s Book. Read the ‘Learning Tip’ and write a paragraph about the library you go to (ex.1,p.135)

Slide 9-11. Work with Student’s Book . Write a paragraph about the author of a book you like and say what you know about this book ( ex.2, p.136)

 Slide 12. Interactive task .

Slide 13. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Practice:

Slide 14-16. Work with Student’s Book . Write a short review of your favorite book. Use the prompts below to help you ( ex.3, p.136)
