Outcomes: at the end of the lesson students will be able to point to and name pets in English, to draw attention to objects, to ask and answer questions identifying pets, to understand the question “What is this?” and answer it.

Objective: to introduce and practice new vocabulary, to introduce Wh-question, to review and practice the structure “Look! It’s a …”, to review and practice Yes/No-questions and answers.

Materials: PowerPoint presentation, Pupil’s book, Activity book, sheets of paper.

Warm up

Start the lesson with greeting. Say “Hello”.

Pre-activity

Slide 3. Ask children “How are you?”, after students ask one by one their classmates.
