Topic: My family and friends

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson students will be able to make presentations of their families to each other, to sing а family song along, to follow classroom instructions, to make finger puppets.

Objective: to practice classroom instructions, to introduce а family tree and some relationships in it, to sing а song about а happy family.

Materials: PowerPoint presentation, Pupil’s book, Activity book, sheets of paper, glue, and scissors.

Plan

Warm up

Start the lesson with greeting. Say “Hello”.

Slide 2. Sing the song.

Pre-activity

Slide 3. Ask child “How are you?”, after students ask one by one their classmates.

Slide 4-5. Phonetic exercise.

Slide 6. Game “Sam says” (classroom instructions).

Main activity

Slide 7-12. Work with pictures. Present new vocabulary.

Slide 13. Sing the song.

Slide 14. Work with book. Listen and repeat.

Slide 15. Physical exercise.

Practice

Slide 16. Work with picture “Who is this?”

Slide 17. Work in Activity book p.27.

Slide 18. Make finger puppets.

Slide 19. Students present their finger family.

Slide 20. Sing the song.
