Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to retell the plot of the story, to read the words with the digraphs – er, ir, ur.

Objectives: to listen and read a story, to find out a message using a code, to write true or false, to introduce and practise the reading of the words with the digraphs (er, ir, ur).

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Pupil’s Book, Activity Book.
