Objectives:

• to introduce and practise the new vocabulary;
• to read a text about greeting etiquette in Britain;
• to introduce the rules of writing an article;
• to read an article and name its parts;
• to develop the students’ reading, speaking and writing skills;
• to broaden students’ outlook.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to use the new vocabulary in speech, to retell about greeting etiquette in Britain, to write an article.
