Objectives:

• to read an interview;
• to complete the sentences;
• to answer the questions;
• to retell some facts about own school;
• to develop the students’ reading and speaking skills;
• to provide a welcoming atmosphere in the class.
• Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to retell some facts about their school.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Main activity:

Slide 5. Work with Student’s Book. Read the interview and say what you’ve liked most of all concerning the learning of languages and why the pupils of Lyceum 51 are happy. (ex.11, p.113)
