• to develop students’ speaking skills;
• to broaden students’ knowledge about the climate and the weather in Ukraine;
• to develop self-esteem and a sense of respect for others;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to use the new words in speech, to retell about climate and weather in Ukraine.
