Objectives:

• to listen to the text about Matilda’s teachers;
• to tell about the favourite teachers at school, answering the questions;
• to write an essay to a school newspaper about the favourite teacher;
• to develop the students’ reading skills;
• to improve students’ grammar skills;
• to provide a welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to tell about their favourite teachers.
