Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 4. The icons of the lesson.

Slide 5. Collaborative Storytelling.

Main activity:

Slide 6-11. Work with Student’s Book. Listen to read the story. Say where the story takes place and who the main characters are (ex.1,p.106)

Slide 12-14. Work with Student’s Book . Answer the questions ( ex.2, p.108)

Slide 15-17. Work with Student’s Book. Discuss the text in groups of four ( ex.3, p.109)

Slide 18. Letter to Miss Dove.

Slide 19. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Slide 20-21. Work with Student’s Book. Describe Miss Dove’s thoughts when she looked at the boy who pushed the girl next to him ( ex.4, p.109)

Practice:

Slide 22-24. Work with Student’s Book. Role-play the situations. a) Imagine Thomas and Miss Dove meet ( ex.5, p.109)
