Objectives:

• to improve reading skills through doing tasks;
• to have practice in using vocabulary related to the performance correctly;
• to develop students’ speaking and writing skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about entertainment

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 4. The icons of the lesson.

Slide 5. Brainstorming.

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. READ A) Look at the picture and guess. What are Liv and Stu waiting for? Listen to the dialogue and check your answers. Then read it out in groups ( ex.1, p.44)

Slide 8-9. Work with Student’s Book. B) Read again and write T for True and F for False (ex.1, p.44)

Slide 10-11. Work with Student’s Book. VOCABULARY Find words in the box which mean (ex.2, p.45)

Slide 12. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Practice:
