Objectives:

• to discuss what kinds of people usually enjoy the hobbies presented in the pictures;
• to introduce and practise the new vocabulary;
• to make up the sentences with the new words;
• to listen to the texts;
• to talk about hobbies;
• to improve students’ vocabulary skills;
• to develop the students’ listening skills;
• to develop the students’ communicative skills;
• to develop a sense of respect to others.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to tell about their own hobbies.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Main activity:

Slide 5. Work with Student’s Book. Discuss with your partner what kinds of people usually enjoy the hobbies presented in the pictures given below. These words can help you: quiet, active, imaginative, adventurous, daring, artistic, creative. (ex.1, p.28)
