Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about travelling

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. VOCABULARY AND READING Match the words in the box to the photos A-K. listen, check and repeat. Decide whether each type of transport moves in the air, or land or in the water (ex.1, p.20)

Slide 8-10. Work with Student’s Book. Read the article quickly and find out where Sophie, Fred and Chris went on holiday. How did each of them get there? (ex.2, p.20)

Slide 11-12. Work with Student’s Book. Read the article again and answer the questions (ex.3, p.20)

Slide 13-14. Work with Student’s Book. PRONUNCIATION Silent letters In pairs, read the words aloud. Which are the silent letters? Listen and check. Then repeat (ex.4, p.21)

Slide 15-17. Work with Student’s Book. Look at this photos A-K on page 20. Discuss the questions with your partner (ex.5, p.21)
