Objectives:

• to introduce and practise the new vocabulary;
• to listen to the TV show;
• to work in groups discussing ‘place settings’;
• to talk about table manners;
• to develop students’ listening and speaking skills;
• to develop self-esteem and a sense of respect for others.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to use the vocabulary of the lesson in oral speech, to tell about ‘place settings’ and table manners.
