Warm-up

Start the lesson with greeting. Say “Hello”.

Slide 2. Sing the song.

Review

Slide 3. Describing Game

Pre-activity

Slide 4-5. Phonic Drill. 

Slide 6. Introduce the vocab

Start off by getting everyone standing in front of you. Hold up the rubber flashcard.

- Proceed as follows:

Teacher: What's this? It's a rubber. Repeat “pencil”. Introduce the vocab

Students: “Rubber” (repeat 3 times)

- Then do the same for the other 3 flashcards.

- Next give each student the same 4 flashcards and have them lay the cards out in front of them. Touch one of your cards (e.g. book) whilst saying the word and have your students touch and repeat on their cards. Go through all of the cards.

Practice

Slide 13. Basketball Game

- Students take a shot at the trash can/box/etc. First show a flashcard to S1. If s/he answers correctly then s/he can have a shot at the basket.

- If the S gets the ball in the basket then s/he wins 2 points. If the S hits the basket without going inside then s/he wins 1 point. 

- The person who gets the most points is the winner. This can also be played in teams.
