Objectives:

• to review our knowledge about capital cities and their landmarks;
• to have practice in making and role-playing dialogues about sightseeing;
• to develop student’s creativity, speaking and writing skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about famous landmarks

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Main activity:

Slide 11-12. Work with Student’s Book. Write down the names of some cities and the monuments ( places of interest) that make them famous. Work with a partner (ex.3, p.122)
