Objectives:

• to speak about dream trip;
• to read the e-mail about the impressions of the some travellers;
• to have practice in writing letter about your impressions of trip;
• to develop students’ creativity and writing and speaking skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to speak about trips

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Main activity:

Slide 6-9. Work with Student’s Book. a) Read, answer the question and make a list ( ex.1, p. 223)

Slide 10. Work with Student’s Book. b) Compare your list with your partner’s ( ex.1, p. 223)

Slide 11-12. Work with Student’s Book. c) Make up a Word Map of the UK ( ex.1, p.223)

Slide 13-14. Work with Student’s Book. a) Read the e-mail about the impressions of the some travellers (ex.2, p.223)

Slide 15. Work with Student’s Book. b) Share your impressions of a country or a place you’ve been to (ex.2, p.224)

Slide 16. Gymnastic for the eyes.
