Objectives:

• to speak travelling;
• to have practice in making short dialogues and a report about trips;
• to do mapping exercises;
• to develop students’ creativity and listening and speaking skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to speak about trips

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. Ask and answer in pairs ( ex.1, p. 220)

Slide 8-10. Work with Student’s Book. a) Listen and say if the statements below are true or false ( ex.2, p. 220)

Slide 11. Work with Student’s Book. b) Work in pairs. Act out the dialogue ( ex.2, p.221)

Slide 12-14. Work with Student’s Book. Work in a group of three. Role-play the situation (ex.3, p.222)

Slide 15-16. Work with Student’s Book. Imagine you’ve been to great Britain. Now you are going to make a report on your trip. Get ready to do it in written form. Make use of the ‘Learning Tip’ below (ex.4, p.222)
