Objectives:

• to read the emails;
• to talk about the penfriends (personality);
• to introduce and practise the modifying adverbs;
• to develop students’ reading and speaking skills;
• to improve students’ grammar competence;
• to promote positive attitude to studying a language.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to describe their penfriends (personality), to use the modifying adverbs in speech.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:
