Objectives:

• to read the text about the famous composers;
• to talk about Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart;
• to read the information about the modern Ukrainian composer, putting the verbs in brackets into the correct tense form;
• to write a short report for the school e-newspaper about a famous composer;
• to develop students’ reading, speaking and writing skills;
• to train students’ grammar skills;
• to promote positive attitude through studying the language.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to tell about Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, to write a short report about a famous composer, to put the verbs into the correct tense form.
