Objectives:

  • to work in pairs, talking about the styles of music;
  • to listen to the information about the singers and fill in the gaps;
  • to read a text about different styles of popular music;
  • to answer the questions;
  • to develop students’ listening, reading and speaking skills;
  • to promote positive attitude to studying a language.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson the students will be able to tell about different styles of music.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Main activity:
