• to discuss which brainstorming idea you think is best and explain why;
• to develop students’ speaking and reading skills;

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about brainstorming

Warm-up:

Main activity:

Slide 7-8. Work with Student’s Book. When do you need ideas from other people? Tick the sentences that are true for you. Then in pairs, compare your answers ( ex.1, p. 72)

Slide 9. Work with Student’s Book. Think of an example where you worked with other people to get ideas and tell the class ( ex.2, p. 72)

Slide 10-12. Work with Student’s Book. Read the text and match groups A-D to the brainstorm techniques 1-4 ( ex.3, p. 72)
