Objectives:

• to change sentences from the active into the passive;
• to fill in too/enough and one/ones;
• to do your project about mall of your dreams;
• to develop students’ speaking and writing skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about shopping

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 4. The icons of the lesson.

Slide 5. Brainstorming Session.

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. a) Change these sentences from the active into the passive (ex.4, p.72)

Slide 8-9. Work with Student’s Book. b) Make your own 6 sentences in the passive (ex.4, p.72)

Slide 10-11. Work with Student’s Book. a) Fill in too/enough and one/ones (ex.5, p.72)

Slide 12-13. Work with Student’s Book. b) Make your own 4 sentences with too/enough and another 4 with one/ones (ex.5, p.72)

Slide 14-15. Work with Student’s Book. Look at the pictures and say, as in the example (ex.6, p.72)

Slide 16-17. Work with Student’s Book. Look at the goods and say how much they cost (ex.7, p.73)

Slide 18. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Practice:

Slide 19-20. Work with Student’s Book. Do your project. Think of mall of your dreams. Work in groups of 3-4. Design a poster of the mall and present it in class (ex.8, p.73)
