Objectives:

• to revise the genres of the books;
• to do a quiz;
• to compare own and friend’s literary tastes;
• to talk about the literary habits;
• to write a story, saying why student enjoys reading books and what genres of literature he/she is fond of;
• to develop students’ speaking skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson the students will be able to name the literary genres, to talk about the literary habits and write a story, telling why they enjoy reading books and what genres of literature they’re fond of.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.
