• to have practice in making and role dialogues between customer and cashier;
• to develop students’ speaking and listening skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about shopping

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 4. The icons of the lesson.

Slide 5. Shopping List and Dialogues.

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. Look at the picture. Guess what the dialogue is going to be about (ex.1, p.66)

Slide 8-11. Work with Student’s Book. Listen to the dialogue and say if the statements below are true or false (ex.2, p.66)

Slide 12-14. Work with Student’s Book. Listen again and say if the phrases below belong to the cashier or the customer (ex.3, p.66)

Slide 15-17. Work with Student’s Book. Make a similar dialogue in pairs. Use the scheme below (ex.4, p.66)

Slide 18. Gymnastic for the eyes.
