Objectives:

• to speak about making invitation and suggestion to spend free time;
• to read and listen to the phone talk and doing tasks;
• to act out the dialogue in pairs;
• to develop students’ speaking and writing skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about free time activities

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. a) Read and listen to the phone talk (ex.1, p.53)

Slide 8-9. Work with Student’s Book. b) Unscramble the questions and answer them (ex.1, p.53)

Slide 10-12. Work with Student’s Book. Work in pairs. Use the sentences from the box. Call your friend and invite him / her to a birthday party / your place / an acting class / the cinema / a bowling club / the swimming pool (ex.2, p.53)

Slide 13. Gymnastic for the eyes.
