OBJECTIVES: To learn words for food and cooking actions in a salad recipe. To understand a simple dialogue about making a salad and complete a list of ingredients.

VOCABULARY: Dill, vinegar, mixture, salmon fillet, sprigs of fresh oregano, to fry, to grill, to squeeze, to cool down, to pour.

OUTCOMES: The student will be able to understand basic instructions for a salad recipe and name some common ingredients and cooking verbs.

MATERIALS: PowerPoint presentation, Pupil’s book, Activity Book.
