Objectives:

• to speak about free time activities;
• to write what you can/can’t do and would like to learn how to do;
• to interview each other about your likes and dislikes as to different activities;
• to develop students’ speaking and writing skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about free time activities

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 5. Interactive task 1.

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. Make true sentences about yourself (ex.1, p.51)

Slide 8-9. Work with Student’s Book. Match the pictures to the activities (ex.2, p.51)

Slide 10-11. Work with Student’s Book. Use the phrases to talk about different activities (ex.3, p.51)

Slide 12. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Practice:

Slide 13. Interactive task.

Slide 14-16. Work in Workbook. a) Look at the pictures and write what everyone can/can’t do and would like to learn how to do (ex.1, p.37)

Slide 17. Work in Workbook. b) Write what you can/can’t do and would like to learn how to do (ex.1, p.37)

Slide 18-19. Work in Workbook. Look at the pictures and write about the kid’s likes and dislikes. Use the phrases in task 3 on page 51 in the SB (ex.2, p.38)
