OBJECTIVES: To understand basic vocabulary about the press. To read and understand simple texts about British newspapers. To talk about sources of news and personal preferences.

OUTCOMES: By the end of the lesson students will be able to answer questions based on the content of an article about British newspapers and magazines, to discuss the role of the media based on what they have read.

 MATERIALS: PowerPoint presentation, Student’s book, Activity book.
