Objectives:

• to develop students’ speaking and writing skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about friend

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 5. Guess Who Game.

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. a) Find the right ending (ex.1, p.44)

Slide 8-9. Work with Student’s Book. b) Make up 6 sentences with the adjectives above (ex.1, p.44)

Slide 10-11. Work with Student’s Book. a) Look, listen and repeat (ex.2, p.44)

Slide 12. Work with Student’s Book. b) Say who in your classroom has freckles / long curly hair / short straight hair / shoulder-length hair (ex.2, p.44)

Slide 13-15. Work with Student’s Book. Tell your classmate about one of your friends. Use the scheme below (ex.3, p.44)

Slide 16. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Practice:

Slide 17-18 Work in Workbook. Sort out the words from the box into two groups. Add any other words that you know (ex.1, p.32)

Slide 19-20. Work in Workbook. Look at the pictures and write about people in them, as in the example (ex.2, p.32)

Slide 21-23. Work in Workbook. a) Read the adjectives below and say which ones are positive and which ones are negative. Complete the sentences with them (ex.3, p.33)
