• to learn some holiday activities ;
• to have practice in reading for gist and identifying specific information in the dialogue;
• to develop students’ writing and reading skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about holiday activities

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 4. The icons of the lesson.

Slide 5. Discuss.

Main activity:

Slide 6-8. Work with Student’s Book. Where can you find the following in this module? Go through the module and find the pictures ( p.19)

Slide 9-11. Work with Student’s Book. VOCABULARY Match the pictures with the holiday activities. Then listen and check your answers (ex.1, p.20)

Slide 12-14. Work with Student’s Book. A) Look at the pictures. Where did Liv travel to? Listen to the dialogue and check. Then read it out in groups (ex.2, p.20)

Slide 15. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Slide 16-17. Work with Student’s Book. B) Read again and answer the questions (ex.2, p.20)

Practice:

 Slide 18-19. Work in Workbook. A) Look at the pictures and complete the phrases with the correct verb (ex.1, p.18)
