Objectives:

  • to introduce the possessive adjectives;
  • to write a short report about school life;
  • to read a page from diary;
  • to work in pairs talking about a diary and typical day;
  • to write an e-mail telling about the typical day;
  • to develop the students’ writing skills;
  • to inspire students to work in pairs;
  • to develop self-esteem and a sense of respect for others;
  • to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to write a report about their school life, to write an e-mail telling about their typical day.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.
