Objectives:

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about sport

Warm-up:

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 5. Sports Haiku Poetry.

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. Match the photos A-E to the words in the box (ex.1, p.17)

Slide 8-9. Work with Student’s Book. Complete the table with the sports in the box. Some sports can go in more than one column (ex.2, p.17)

Slide 10. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Slide 11-12. Work with Student’s Book. Complete the information with the sports words in Exercise 1 (ex.3, p.17)

Slide 13. Sporting Doodles .

Slide 14-15. Work with Student’s Book. LISTENING Look at the photo of the sport. Match the words 1-2 to A and B in the photo (ex.1, p.17)

Slide 16-17. Work with Student’s Book. Listen to the interview with a boy about his unusual sport. What’s the name of the sport? (ex.2, p.17)
