Objectives:

• to develop students’ reading and speaking skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about the students’ first day at school.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Main activity:

Slide 5. Work with Student’s Book. Look and match the photos (A-C) to the situations (1-3). (ex.1, p.4)

Slide 7. Work with Student’s Book. a) Listen to the students talking on their first day at school and match the conversations to the situations (1-3) above. (ex.2, p.4)
