Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about countries and nationalities

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 4. The icons of the lesson.

Slide 5. Word Association Game.

Main activity:

Slide 6-8. Work with Student’s Book. Choose your answers. Then share them in groups (ex.1, p.6)

Slide 9. English Self-Portrait.

Slide 10-11. Work with Student’s Book. Match the countries to the nationalities (ex.2, p.7)

Slide 12-13. Work with Student’s Book. Ask and answer in pairs, as in the example (ex.3, p.7)

Slide 14. Interactive task.

Slide 15. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Practice:

Slide 16-17. Work in Workbook. Work in pairs. Interview your partner and then tell the class about him/her (ex.1, p.4)
