• to read reviews about two books and doing tasks;
• to fold puzzle;
• to develop students’ reading and speaking skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to speak about books

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. READING Look at two book covers. Do you know these stories? What are they about? Discuss your ideas with a partner (ex.1, p.104)

Slide 8-10. Work with Student’s Book. Read the reviews and check your ideas (ex.2, p.104)

Slide 11-13. Work with Student’s Book. Read the reviews again and answer the questions ( ex.3, p.104)

Slide 16-18. Work in Working Book. READING Read the article about what students are reading. Who is reading something they are going to give back when they finish? (ex.1, p.78)
