Objectives:

• to speak about collocations about having fun;
• to improve listening skills through doing tasks;
• to have practice interview about unusual hobby;
• to develop students’ listening and speaking skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about free-time activities

Main activity:

Slide 6-8. Work with Student’s Book. VOCABULARY  Collocation about having fun  Look at the phrases in the box. Which ones are in the blog? (ex.1, p.89)

Slide 9-10. Work with Student’s Book. Complete the sentences with the correct form of have, spend, be or enjoy (ex.2, p.89)

Slide 11-12. Work with Student’s Book. Complete the sentences so they are true for you. In pairs, compare your answers (ex.3, p.89)

Slide 13-14. Work with Student’s Book. LISTENING Listen to a girl talking about her hobby – beekeeping. Who is she speaking to? How long has she done her hobby? (ex.1, p.89)

Slide 15-16. Work with Student’s Book. LISTENING  Listen again and decide if the sentences are right (       ) or wrong (     )? (ex.2, p.89)
