Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Main activity:

Slide 6-9. Work with Student’s Book. LISTENING Read the sentences below and listen to the conversations between a boy called Jed and a girl called Holly. Are the sentences right or wrong ? (ex.1, p.79)

Slide 10-12. Work with Student’s Book. What advice did Holly give Jed? Complete Holly’s notes with the phrases in the box. Listen again and check (ex.2, p.79)

Slide 13. Work with Student’s Book. Compare Holly’s advice with the advice in the article. What do you think of Holly’s advice to Jed? Which advice is good and which is bad? (ex.3, p.79)

Slide 14-15. Work with Student’s Book. SPEAKING Look at the questions on an internet chat page. In pairs, think of three pieces of advice for each person (ex.1, p.79)
