Objectives:

• to read and discuss the sentences;
• to introduce and practise the new vocabulary;
• to make up the sentences with new words;
• to broaden students’ vocabulary;
• to develop the students’ speaking skills;
• to encourage understanding and tolerance to other people.

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, the students will be able to use the new vocabulary in oral and written speech.

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Main activity:

Slide 5. Work with Student’s Book. Read these sentences. What do they mean? Say if it is really necessary to learn and make progress and what we need to make a masterpiece. Discuss it with your classmates. First think then speak. (ex.1, p.141)

Slide 9. Work with Students’ Book. Read the words and their definitions and make up sentences with these words. (ex.2, p.141)

Slide 10-11. Read the words and their definitions.

Practice:

Slide 15. Work in Workbook. Read the words, make some sentences and write. (ex.1, p.68)
