Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about environment

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Warm-up:

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 4. The icons of the lesson.

Slide 5. Interactive Storytelling.

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. SPEAK & WRITE Look at the poster below. Then ask and answer questions about the event (ex.3, p.65)

Slide 8-10. Work with Student’s Book. SPEAK & WRITE Read the phrases below. Then match the messages (1-4) on the right with their replies (a-d) (ex.3, p.65)

Slide 11. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Slide 12. Work with Student’s Book. SPEAK & WRITE D) Imagine you are going to go to the event from activity 3B. Write an e-mail inviting a friend to the event. Use the information on the poster (ex.3, p.65)

Practice:

 Slide 13-15. Work in Workbook. B) Look at the pictures below and make suggestions using the prompts (ex.5, p.54)

Slide 16-17. Work in Workbook. C) Complete the e-mails with the phrases a-f. Then match the e-mails of invitation (1-3) with the replies (A-C) (ex.5, p.54)
