• to make a presentation about shopping mall in our country or abroad;
• to develop students’ reading and writing skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about shopping

Slide 6-8. Work with Student’s Book. What’s in the Unit?

Slide 9. Interactive task.

Slide 10-12. Work with Student’s Book. Listen and read the article above. Then choose a, b or c (ex.1, p.60)

Slide 13-15. Work with Student’s Book. Read the article again and answer the questions (ex.3, p.61)

Slide 16-18. Work with Student’s Book. a) Read the comments on the article and say who: (ex.4, p.61)

Slide 19-20. Work with Student’s Book. b) Work in pairs. Tell your partner if you want to go to Westfield and explain why/why not (ex.4, p.61)

Slide 21. Work with Student’s Book. Work in groups. Choose a mall in your country or abroad and make a PowerPoint presentation about it. Use the article on Kids Online as an example (ex.5, p.61)
