Objectives:

• to repeat grammar learned in previous lessons;
• to have practice in using past simple: negative and questions ;
• to develop students’ writing and speaking skills;
• to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to repeat grammar learned in previous lessons

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Plan

Warm-up:

Slide 2. Greeting.

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 4. The icons of the lesson.

Slide 5. Interactive task 1.

Main activity:

Slide 6-7. Work with Student’s Book. Complete the sentences with the past simple negative form of underlined verbs (ex.1, p.140)

Slide 8-10. Work with Student’s Book. Write a true sentences about what you and the people you know didn’t do yesterday. Use the words in brackets and the past simple negative form of the verbs ( ex.2, p.140)

Slide 11. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Slide 12-13. Work with Student’s Book. Write complete questions in the past simple. Then write short answers (ex.3, p.141)

Practice:

Slide 14-16. Work with Student’s Book. Put the words in order to make questions. Then write answers that are true for you (ex.4, p.140)

Slide 17. Interactive task 2.
